Deposits and Credit Card Payments
A deposit may be requested at the time of booking, payable by credit card, cheque or cash. Payments by credit card will be subject to a transaction charge of 3% of the total amount payable.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be received by phone at the first opportunity and also further confirmed in writing. Short notice cancellations may be subject to a cancellation charge. For weddings, cancellation within 28 days of the reserved date will require payment of 50% of the total hire charge payable.
Settlement of Accounts
Outstanding Balances may be settled 14 days prior to the reservation by credit card or by cash on the day of service.
Account customers must ensure that settlement is made within 30 days from the date of invoice and are subject to a 5% administration charge on the total amount payable.
Disclaimer & Liability
We will endeavour to make every effort to arrive on time at the pick up and destination address and cannot be held responsible for any late arrival due to circumstances beyond our control.
We will not be held liable for any repercussions that a delay may cause. We recommend that clients consider protection by adequate travel insurance. Email your travel requirements to Viking Insurance who would be pleased to assist you, or alternatively contact an insurance company of your choice.
Should the reserved travel arrangements on the day need to be amended, this may incur an extra fee and can only be accommodated if the revised requirements do not conflict with any other prior reservations. Our chauffeurs will choose an appropriate route based on their experience and knowledge along with information from satellite navigational aids.
The main hirer will be held liable for the conduct of those travelling and we reserve the right to make a charge for any damage caused to the vehicles by passengers or subsequent third parties incited to cause damage to the vehicles. A charge of £100 will be levied to cover the cost of valeting in the unfortunate event of any soiling to the interior of a vehicle.
All our vehicles adopt a strict non-smoking policy in accordance with UK law.
These terms and conditions of hire are neither exhaustive nor conclusive and are subject to periodical amendment.
